Make your Home Blush by Decorating your Home with the Color Pink

You can think of pink for your clothes, a pink stationery set, and even a pink car. But rarely people see the color as a home interior theme. Truth be told but people tend away from the color pink because of not knowing what shade of pink they like.

In the past 100 years, the connotation and representation of the color pink have changed. A century ago, the hue was hard to come by and over time, with the advancement of technology and dyes, the rosy hue has become less feminine, more widely accepted by men, and more prevalent in our homes and in our lives.

In this article, Tokyo Grand Renovation will discuss how powerful the color pink can be when it comes to decorating your home.

BEDROOM DESIGN

If you really don’t know where to start adding pink into your bedroom design, the easiest place is the bed covers. Look for the applicable color pink accents in the bedroom, more preferably in some dark shades of pink like fuchsia and base pink. Part of the head, such as the headboard can be in such colors, or for avoiding changes in the furniture, one can choose small things. You can choose small toys, cushions, and pillows

The good side of using pink is that you don’t have to overdo it – instead, pick only one element that can convey your statement such as a strikingly pink couch in a pale interior. In order to achieve the best results, apply the color pink where it is least expected, such as modern and pastel rooms.

KITCHEN DESIGN

A colored pink appliance is sure to draw the right kind of attention to your kitchen, immediately catching the eye of anyone who enters. Popular in homes of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s, colored appliances have made a comeback and are a creative and innovative way to introduce a splash of color to your kitchen

From the curtains to a few pieces of tableware, the ideas can be many but always remember the golden rule of designing. The rule is fairly simple- you choose patterns and shades that complement and work well with each other. Unless you have selected the right range of patterns and designs, the actual beauty of color pink doesn’t come alive at all.

COLOR THEORY: IMPORTANCE OF COLOR IN INTERIOR DESIGN

Certainly, color is an important part of everyone’s lives.

LIVING ROOM DESIGN

Taking notes from The Spruce, along with its newfound sense of responsibility, pink is finding itself in a number of new and exciting color combinations. Deep oranges and light pinks are rarely the first picks for furniture and curtains alone much less together. Yet in this space, they make a picture-perfect pair.

Adding a rich tone, like deep mauve, can take this look from pretty and romantic into a more sophisticated direction. You may have heard us talk about the 60-30-10 ration before — it’s an easy rule to follow when bringing color into your home, making 60% of the space one color, 30% another color, and 10% an accent color.

There are so many creative ideas when it comes to decorating with pink. Pink color is a light version of red. The color pink color symbolizes love and passion in a gentle way. Pink color shades are youthful and sweet, adding joy to pink color schemes chosen for interior design and home decorating.

Decorating with the color pink color shades feel feminine and soft. Gray or black and pink room decor blends feminine and masculine colors into a more balanced interior design.
